Ola to get a fleet of EVs from Softbank

Masayoshi Son, the founder and president of Softbank, has expressed his desire to present a fleet of Indian made Electric Vehicles to Ola. Softbank adready has huge investment in the Indian raide hailing startup.This, if comes into reality, will propel Ola in the direction of futuristic technology. Getting ahead in green car technology will not only help the company but also serve the Indian market for electric vehicles as Me Son wishes to use Cars manufactured in India for the purpose.


But it would also depend on support from automobile vendors, state and central governments. Ola has been moving ahead very smartly forging partnerships ,recently it has tied up with Mahindra & Mahindra. This partnership will help Ola to increase its fleet size by 40,000 cars within the next two years.Ola has also partnered with Apple Carplay to give the riders customized in-car infotainment services.
